♥ St. Johnson's Educational Trip
It was 11:00 pm. Lilliane brushed her teeth and went to bed. After some time of trying to sleep, she gave up and chatted with her sister.
Next thing she knew, it was 3:30 am. She wasn't able to sleep at all but she was still hyper. She got off her bed and took a bath. After getting dressed up, she went downstairs. She watched the television while her sister prepared her sandwiches and lunch. It was 4:00am now.
"Uhmm, manang, nakabukas na po ba yung gate?" Lilliane asked her maid feeling excited.
"Tingnan ko na sige." her maid replied before going out.
Lilliane remained sitting on the sofa. She was feeling so hyper and excited that she was tapping her shoes. Finally her maid arrived.
"It's open already."
Lilliane immediately stood up and took her bag. She then left their house.
Lilliane reached the school grounds and walked towards the chapel. She saw Keeno "Hey Lil, we went ghost hunting a while ago."
"Really?" Lilliane now asked. She then asked if she could come with them.
Lilliane went with, Nikki, Nate, Marky, Keeno and more. They went to one classroom, with Nate using his cellphone for some light. They stayed inside the classroom until.. "Hey Nate! the bus is leaving." A friend of Nate shouted.
They all ran from the third floor, Lilliane seperated from the group. She didn't know that Nikki was following her. Then she came back to the group, not knowing this, Nikki passed by the faculty room. Then, "Hi sir!!" Lilliane and the others greeted the teacher. They teased Nikki since she likes that teacher, Sir Tony. Then, she passed by Sir Tony and greeted him.
The bus was nearly leaving, Terrence hasn't arrived. Lilliane sat in front of the chapel together with Nikki, waiting. Then he arrived, Lilliane and Sloanne paid the money they borrowed from the class funds.
When Lilliane gave him the money, his hands were cold. Then, they went inside the bus. Lilliane searched for a chair. The seat beside Terrence was the only vacant seat at that moment. "Hey Lilliane, occupy all the seats.." Nikki told her, teasing. Then Lilliane looked back, hesitating. "Hey Terrence! I'll sit beside you." Jonathan offered [well, it wasn't exactly an offer but like, he was reserving the seat] then, Lilliane sat beside Abby.
They left but Patrick was missing. They found out that her joined another section's bus.
On their way to the Safari, they had a stop over. Lilliane, Sloanne and Nikki went to Starbucks. Sloanne started teasing Nikki about Sir Tony. Lilliane searched for Sir Tony then asked Sloanne, "Where is he anyway?" then Sloanne replied "Behind us.."
Lilliane looked behidn her and found Sir Tony. Nikki was blushing. They left the store and went back to the bus. The bus left again.
There's this thing now. About Maryll. Lilliane sat at the middle chair, beside Sloanne. She kept on looking back because a lot of people she could talk to were there. Nica, Marky, Keeno, Chassy, Yvette and more. But Maryll. She really got into Lilliane's nerves.
When she looks back, Maryll would react, "Why are you looking here?" Maryll asked Lilliane. Lilliane just faced front and whispered "FEELER"
She really got pissed off at that moment. Terrence was near her, well, beside Maryll. He looked perfect as usual. His face, expressionless. Lilliane was looking at him, taking a glimpse of him. Keeno and the others were so hyper that they made different jokes. They said "People who likes blah blah, shout" or some sort. The time Lilliane spent inside the bus made her feel happy.
Lilliane was still hyper, which was a bad thing. She knows that there's a big possibility that by the time they head back to school, she would be so tired and actually fall asleep. She doesn't want to miss anything and she tried her best not to sleep.
They reached their destination. They had some tour. Some picture taking. Then there was the part about satying inside a vehicle then the tigers were just outside. Not in cages, then you would be able to feed them. Lilliane grouped with Sloanne, Keeno, Nikki, Terrence, Marky, Yvette, Chassy, Matthew and more. They shared money to buy the chickens.
Lilliane was seated beside Terrence. She was scared, yes, but Matthew was funny. He was scared as well, or acted like he was scared.
The time passed by, then they returned to their bus. They had lunch. Everyone went out of the bus after reaching the dining area. Lilliane with her friends stayed inside the bus. Lilliane tried sleeping now. Listening to Nikki's mp3. Then, Keeno woke her up.
After lunch, they watched aetas perform different dances. The Dragon Fly dance, Lilliane was amazed with the softness of the guy's body. The monkey dance was amazing. The guy climbed the tree soo fast. Then the war dance. Lilliane gasped and took a step back at the ending.
Then they were able to pass the Hip Hop Bayawak and Lilliane had some pics with friends. Then they fed the crocodiles.
Then after that, they went to JEST Camp. There they were taught survival methods. The instructor showed them how to make a plate, glass, fire and more. When he showed how to make fire, "ahhh, ang galing" was Lilliane's reaction then "ahh ang gwapo" She heard a voice say and found out that it was Nikki. "Huh?" Lilliane asked, clueless. Nikki then pointed towards Sir Tony. Lilliane and Sloanne started laughing and laughing.
The camp finished and it was time to go home.
They returned to the bus.
Lilliane's irritation towards Maryll was now gone. She was even able to talk to her.Lilliane later on slept. Then she woke up, feeling the cramps on her feet.
Then, she went to the seat beside Terrence. To talk to Marky.
Well, Lilliane wanted to talk to Terrence as well but his face was covered with the curtain.
She checked the curtain if he really is sleeping. Then she asked "Did I wake you?" then he nodded his head. "Oh, sorry" Lilliane said, her voice apologetic. Then she chatted with him. Lilliane told him a lot of things though his responses were mostly, nods. That conversation with Terrence made Lilliane really happy.
Later on, Patrick [joined the bus, on their way home] asked Lilliane to listen to something. She did and it was FOB. Patrick searched for Pretty in Punk and clicked play. Lilliane knew the song. Memorize, maybe. Then she asked Terrence "Do you listen to FOB?" in response, he shook his head. "Try listening to them, they're pretty good." Lilliane then offered the left side of the headset. He took it from Lilliane's hand and placed it in his ear.
They listened. There's this line in the song Pretty in Punk "Would you mind if I sat next to you and watch you smile?"
"Oh my, it's really connected to what's happening now." Lilliane thought.
Then they continued talking. She asked "How's the field trip?" and he responded, "ok lang"
Then they had another stop over. She asked for the headset first. Then she changed into her yellow shirt. Lilliane thought of the idea that her number during the Basketball game last Intramurals was still visible in her shirt. What's more funny is that her number was 4. "Four has been my number all along" She said.
Then she returned to the bus. She again, sat beside Terrence. They continued listening to Music. Nikki then offered her mp3, since Patrick's mp3 contained a lot songs unknown to Lilliane, espescially Terrence.
Lilliane accepted it and shared the headset with Terrence again. "If ever i fall asleep, just wake me up when we reach the school." Lilliane told Terrence and he just nodded.
Lilliane though remembered hearing the song Emily and singing the line the "My heart bleeds your smile and my soul starts to die."
After a while, Lilliane drifted to sleep. She woke up with the noise of her classmates.
They made louder noise after seeing her wake up. Then someone approached her. It was Pauline. Lilliane asked what happened. "You fell asleep, and then.. you head was resting on his shoulder. He was satying still, listening to music. Then people took pictures of you guys." was what she said.
Lilliane was shock and also worried that he might be mad. She then apologized.
They shared the mp3 until they reach St. Johnson's Academy.
The day was so memorable for Lilliane. But she was worried about the next day.
