♥ Graduation
So..
This is the 6th year of Lilliane in elementary and, she's nearly graduating. After the issue with Regina, she started to be closer to her other classmates. But here's the thing, she also, started to forgive Regina. During their graduation practices, Regina is seating next to her and so Lil talks to her.
As the teachers rolled the red carpet at the gymanasium, Lillianes suddenly said "What if, Sadako came and crawled towards the honor students?" Regina replied laughing.
"That would be, freakish." then Lil, as if ignoring what Reg commented, said "Then, she suddenly stands up and congratulates the students.. I guess that would be an interesting sight."
Regina, again laughed. Then Regina--trying to crack a joke now said, "Then, the music, it sounds like someone's getting married" Lilliane suddenly said, "yeah, you.. marrying Eddie!" and gave a grin.Regina laughed, but Lil continued "oh yeah! Don't forget Sadako, she would be the one helping you wiht your traje de boda" and they laughed-- now even Ella joined them--.
That was only one of the funny conversations, Regina and Lil had.
Regina was all happy about her graduation. Thinking that Gradeschool is so boring.
This is where her parents come and turn her all sad.
While, Lil was doing her homeworks, the phone suddenly rings. "rriiiing"
She got up to her feet and reached for the phone. "Hello?" she said.
"Hey sweetie" the person on the other end said. It was her mom. "hey mom, so.. are you coming to my graduation?" Lilliane said, enthusiastically.
Her mom sighed, as if something's wrong. "Oh, sweetie, I'm sorry but I won't be able to go to your graduation. And so is your dad. I'm really sorry, we know this is important to you but I hope you understand us."
"Don't worry about it mom, i just hoped you'd be able to come. That's all. But it's ok, I understand" Lil said, trying to sound understanding. Her mom sighed with relief. She then said goodbye and hung up.
Before going to sleep, Lil, covered herself with the blanket and "WOW! Nice graduation I'll have" she thought, a tear sliding down her cheek. She fell asleep, crying. There was nothing new about this. She was used to, disappointment. Well, as far as she knows, her parents weren't actually there at the special moments of her life.
So, the day of her graduation came, she woke up, energetic. While she took a bath, she started crying, remembering that this day would be like any other day. She would just get her diploma, with her sister coming as her guardian of course.
She started fixing up. And, at her school, they had the graduation ceremony. She took her diploma, hurray, for her. She WAS happy, but she would've been happier with her parents actually accompanying her on receiving her diploma.
